HP has released a teaser video of the new Windows 7 slate PC, first demonstrated during the Microsoft CES 2010 keynote.

There are a number of companies currently working on Slate computers and this one seems to be one of the more feasable initiatives. Personally I don't have a lot of faith in this form factor at this stage. Especially beyond reasonably meanial tasks such as web browsing. But I must accept that most people just want a computer today to surf the internet, but that is what netbooks are supposed to be for.. arent they?? Netbooks are so cheap, so why dish out extra cash for something that may be less capable?

Although Microsoft introduced tablet computers to the market several years ago (I've been using one for the last few years) It seems that this may be a resurgence and 2nd time round they may take off.. lets see what happens.
